Bill Ritter. He was reelected in 2010, 2016 and 2022. He briefly ran for president in 2020. Before his appointment to the Senate, Bennet was superintendent of Denver Public Schools, chief of staff to then-Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper and worked on investments for the billionaire Anschutz family. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University and Yale Law School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Phil Weiser, 58,<\/strong> was elected Colorado&#8217;s attorney general in 2018 and then reelected in 2022. Before that, he was dean of the University of Colorado Law School and worked on antitrust cases in the Clinton and Obama administrations.
